It all began with a request, seemingly simple yet impossible to satisfy in the traditional market.
In Italy, a parent wanted something for his child to combine the passion for skateboarding with the necessity of learning English. Crucially, it had to be local—ideally at the park's nearby skate ramp—and at weekly times defined by the father himself.
Nothing of the sort could be found online. No sports centre, no organization offered skate lessons in a foreign language.
Services were siloed: either language courses or sports courses, with no room for discussion on the where and when. The need was too customized, too personalized to exist in any "catalogue."
But, once visible online, it eventually attracted the perfect person: a native English-speaking young man, a passionate skateboarding prodigy since childhood, who lived in the area and was looking for some activity to supplement his income, preferably legally.
SolverCity was born this way: the idea of using the web and AI not for abstract support, but to physically locate the skills that are right for you.
